Gone children's books shopping this morning.

Used children's books are very cheap in Guernsey. This is a nice new charity shop which displays the books really neatly. 

A Pooh book caught my eye.

I have quite a few Pooh books already. Pooh is fascinating.

 Only clean, newish books get to the shelves. Older ones get recycled :(

A Forgotten Box Of Books. Dreams Of the Red Mansions.

Found these boxes, they are full of books I have forgotten about!

How could I have forgotten about this wonderful set of The Dream Of the Red Mansions.  Complete and Unabridged, English translated, and bought for £4.50 in total.

Published in China, in English!

The other books in the box  I think there is a theme here, female writers mainly.

Children's Books.

I've collected some really girly fairytales recently. One of my favourites is this one, the Twelve Dancing Princesses. I don't understand the moral of this tale, but the pictures are gorgeous.

Naughty Princesses wearing out new shoes overnight!

It's hard to tell the princes from the Princesses because they are all so pretty.
